Answer by Not your average Joe! This is a great question and one that’s often asked. While there are TONS of resources online stick with reputable programs. Sure you can learn stuff from people who say they’re experts but they may teach methods that are considered ‘blackhat’ (tactics that the search engines may penalize you for).

Answer by Carol I am going to recommend that you check out Matt Bacak. You can Google his name or check out his blog at www.mattbacak.com. The guy is an Internet marketing expert but he keeps it real and explains things that people can understand.
He’s been doing this for several years and knows what he is talking about. I am actually a member of his IM Gold membership and I learn so much every day from it. I have followed a couple other so-called IM “gurus” and they provide you with fluff and don’t give you the facts like Matt does. I wish you the best on your new business adventure!

Answer by Sybil When I first got into Internet marketing, I felt the same way that you do. I felt completely overwhelmed until I came across a website by Matt Bacak. He broke down what I should be doing and how to get started with the Internet marketing basics instead of assuming I knew how to find keywords or how to set up a website.
I have now been working from home doing marketing since my son was born about 10 months ago. Like you, I only have time for part-time, around 20 or so hours a week (sometimes less, sometimes more), but I have been able to make at least $ 1000 a month for the past 4 months just by following the advice I got on www.mattbacak.com.
This month looks like I will actually surpass $ 1,000 as I got lucky with some great sales a couple of days ago. I have to say, once you learn the basics and find your niche, it is amazing at how successful you can be.
